Emotions go in and out. Nobody says "man, I'm feelin really faithful today." Also, guns have killed loads of people. By your logic, guns are an emotion.

Well I guess you are right and it probably is fear. Fear of what will happen to you if you brake faith. I don't know lol something like that anyway.
