Nerf or remove Gjallarhorn!

For too long the Gjallarhorn has been a crutch for PvE players! All I can see on the recruitment channel LFG's is 'must have maxed out Gjallarhorn' it's been this way for quite some time! Bungie need to step up, either nerf this weapon or even better the addition of new go to weapons with a slight increase in drop rate. There needs to be more variation, similarly just as PvP has Thorn, PvE has the Gjallarhorn. Why are we being forced into using these 'go to' weapons! Good job Bungie! This may look like a whine post (and you might be right) but you know deep down I'm stating a legitimate fact! This post is meant to start an actual debate or even a solution to the problem, if you're going to retort with insults or you're too dumb to think up a legitimate argument then don't respond. It's as simple as that.

 • The only legitimate fact you are stating is that your post is whiny. Trying to preemptively defend that it is not whiny is actually confirmation that is is whiny. There should be no nerfs in PvE. You nerf ghorn, where does it stop? Groups will soon find the new "Must have ________" weapon or character build to replace it. People are just looking for an advantage; they want to win. There's nothing wrong with that. RNG sucks. I get that. Been here since the beta and played as much as I could since day one and only finally got my first ghorn last week. You would think I'd have been excited. I wasn't. I was relieved. Finally. Got that monkey off my back. You want to know the problem with ghorn? That's the problem- the most sought after PvE weapon in the game is locked behind a RNG system so fouled up that when a day one player finally gets it after hundreds of hours, the only emotional response is relief. If you want to complain to bungie about anything complain about the accessibility of weapons (*cough* elemental primaries), but for the love of god, don't ask for nerfs. It would be a shame to park my new ghorn in the vault next to my two suros that have been collecting dust since the last whiny posts took their toll on a great weapon.
