No they just created a weapon that doubles the damage of its closest competitor. Then they randomly gave it to players regardless of skill or dedication. Disprove that statement or explain how that is not complicit in Gally only requirements.

No where in the original posting was damage ever stated or mention as the sole reason to Nerf or remove Gjallarhorn from the game all together. The OP is calling for either a nerf or be removed from the game because all they see on the LFG channels is the requirement for a maxed out Gjallarhorn in order to be considered for a particular fire team that is doing a particular activity in a game that has NO SUCH REQUIREMENT. This is not Bungie doing, but rather the community's own doing. As I stated as well as others - if bothers the OP (clearly it does - since they created this topic) then either ignore these types of postings and / or start their own LFG thread without this bogus requirement. A simple solution for an issue that was and is self-induced by the community.

Yes I realize the have nots can start their little groups and hope for the best. Still it will be unbalanced at best.

We'll say you create a game and in that game you create a weapon that is more powerful than all other weapons. Next you distribute it randomly among players like I said skill or dedication not being a requirement. Now it is time to create bad ass bosses that can be defeated without said weapon either through greater skill or more time and dedication. Still with the knowledge that said weapon will devastate these bosses faster for the fortunate ones whether skilled or not. Act shocked surprised or innocent when players start discriminating. Oh I never saw this coming! I mean really?
