Why does the last word have half the time to kill of all machine guns. Makes no sense

With the high rate of fire and a chance for a two shot kill, it has one of the fastest TTK in destiny. Even the best machine guns take 3 headshots and most with that impact have a slower rate of fire such as jolders and Thunderlord.
