Sorry but the THORN is broken and OP!
My theory about the Thorn is that it was supposed to work like a fusion rifle, just look at the gears on the cylinder and the fact it shoots massive bolts. I believe Bungie cut that part out due to the Gun shooting bolts lags the game out, and older consoles can't handle it at all. This gave the gun a little too much ROF but that being said, it's not that it needs Nerfing, it's that everything else needs to be "Un-Nerfed"
You mentioned the SUROS? back in the day I killed plenty of them with my "Up For Anything" yet Bungie in their infinite wisdom throws them all into the same bag, ruining them all. I just love the fact that High Caliber rounds, or increasing the impact on my fav guns like the Monte Carlo do absolutely nothing in PVP!!! Yet it makes me lol when I see Bungie turn around and let people roll full auto Scout rifles with explosive rounds. Talk about a "Chain Saw" that cuts absolutely nothing. No matter how many people ask to fix AR's and NLB's it falls on deaf ears.
But the one thing I AM SICK OF HEARING is: "You can't Nerf the THORN, cause I earned it" , Or "Your just not a good enough player to complete the Bounty" When 70% of all Thorn users GLITCHED IT! I earned my Pocket Infinity, which IMHO is a much tougher bounty to do, yet that didn't stop Bungie from not only Nerfing it into non existence, but also wrecking the mechanics of it in PVP so it's not useable, but no one cares because I guess no one's figured out how to glitch owning 10 fusion rifles..
