I would like to emphasize a line of your statement. You state that exotics are meant to be exotic, and that is the reason you don't want a nerf. I agree w/ this. However, all other exotics relevant to pvp have been nerfed to hell to where only hand cannons matter. If you truly believed that ALL exotics should be special, then you would support either hand cannons (in this case thorn) be nerfed so ALL exotics are special, or other weapons getting a huge buff to match hand cannons. You can't say don't nerf this, because ALL exotics need to be special. It contradictory to your own argument.

Every exotic has there own thing and to start taking it away you might as well make it s legendary weapon. There is a reason why the Thorn is the Thorn, a Ghorn is a Ghorn a Hawkmoon is a Hawkmoon and I can go on and on. People need to just learn to deal with it or just not go into the PVP mode plain and simple. They nerf this something else will be over used which then another nerf post will start. People just need to deal with it. Hell in this IB it was not so much the Thorn was a pain in my side but the bloody Mida Multi-Tool, now should I start a post about nerfing that? No, I either Lear how to counter it!

You still haven't addressed my main point. Other exotics have had what's special about them taken away, eg Suros range. Why should hand cannons be different?

That is my point, they need to quit nerfing weapons. If all we are going to do is complain that weapons are OP with out having to learn how to counter or adapt and then bitch about nerfing weapons, people are not going to learn to stay alive. In this game many areas are not easy to deal with but, because people would rather bitch and ask for nerfs thinking that it will become easy with out learning how to stay alive just makes me think they should go play Tetris. As for your example about the suros, I have no problems using that even after the nerf and you check my stats, when I play PvP that is still my weapon and I still kill with it. I only pull my thorn out when I need to and it's more in a fighting fire with fire basis! You can nerf all you want but if someone is not willing to learn how to counter and adapt to weapons why should the vast majority pay because someone thinks it will be easier for them if weapons are nerfed and not willing to build the skill needed to compete?

You still ignore my main point. Why should people have to adapt to ONE weapon type just to be competitive? I get it, adapt blah blah blah. My question to you is, what's the dam point of having multiple weapon types if you have to adapt to one gun? You say to stop merging, but in fact that would be unfair to those who like using what are now under achieving weapons compared to thorn or all hand cannons. Either nerf hand cannons or return all weapons to original stats. Then people could actually "adapt." Any weapon that makes you have to hide for ANY amount of time after only ONE shot is OP. It's as simple as that. Here's an idea a. How about classing it as a special, reduce the chamber to 10? Could thorn users adapt to that?

What is your -blam!-ing hang up on this? What are you not understanding? I'll put it plain and simple who gives two shits if everyone is using handguns, autos, shot guns or rocket launchers, it's part of the game. You don't like it back out and rejoin another match! The only way that shit like this will stop is if bungie imposes a limit to certain weapons on the teams. I can't see that happening but, instead of trying to improve yourself people scream for a nerf. People like you won't be satisfied until all weapons are the same, do the same damage, hold the same amount of ammo and are all the same burns. I can't help it if someone is worse than me and does not like getting killed by the weapons I use, but screaming for a nerf to me equals lack of weapon or lack of skill. I'm now done replying as there is nothing left to say!!! Either try to improve or go to another game cause you can't tell someone what weapons to use in a game so deal with it!

That's just like saying everyone is going to be forced to lose weight, then have to compete in a sumo contest.
