Even if it dies from the mounted turret, its momentum and mass will still squash you like the bug you are. I mean seriously? Outrun it? The thing is far larger than you, even if it does run slowly, the length of its stride would eat up whatever distance you'd be able to put between yourself and it. Especially if you're loaded down with weaponry, ammo, and other necessary supplies. And if you're thinking of shooting it while you're running, how exactly do you plan on being able to see where you're going? Terrain means practically nothing to the Tyrannosaurus. It'll be knocking around trees while you're too busy stumbling over roots and trying to get a bead on it.

Terrain does matter. T-Rex had trouble with balance. Run through uneven terrain and it will have trouble chasing you.

It's made more for flat lands more then hills and climbing

Exactly. Find a hill and you at least have hope. That or saw off its tail.
