If you stream for money shame on you. Gaming should be a hobby not a job. You people begging for money make me sick. I don't know what's worse the people streaming for money or the idiots who donate to them?
While you're sitting on your ass fighting aliens you have little kids fighting cancer. Shame on you...

title is correct

Bruh yea like why do people bother to play sports for money I could just watch my friends play it for free or like why would I pay for my TV bill I only watch it every other day. If you can't draw these obvious comparisons to streaming, you're dumb. I my self haven't donated, but If I watch someone for my entertainment I think that they would deserve a tip. Your a fake gamer and an idiot.
-
So playing games in general for money is bad in your opinion. It's a job just accept that people do it because they love to showcase who they are by showing enjoyment and getting enjoyment out of other people. They are begging for donations and if they are they are desperate. People donate and sub on twitch to support the people they enjoy watching.
-
Fool the same could be said about sports but people still pay to view them. It makes no difference so please delete this post since it serves no purpose other than to anger others
-
I stream, and bolster the gaming community. Because streaming builds community. Just playing a game by yourself kills the community.
-
I don't understand donations, making YouTube videos and getting paid from the adds on the videos makes sense, but I don't think I could enjoy watching someone play games enough to give them my money.
-
There are a lot of stupid kids who watch it? Blame them for being stupid. Plus the man children who run it.
-
Can someone please donate money to me, whether or not you enjoy my posts, the money raise will go to improve my posts, so you will either begin to enjoy them or enjoy them even more. Thank you for your support guys!
-
I saw a guy charging people 30 dollars to go flawless. People were actually paying him.
-
Wow the majority of their money gets donated anyways and if not they still host events where the money donated is given to charity! They donate more than you scrub.
-
So you are either 90 and can't wrap your head around the future or you are 10 and just super jealous of people who have found a way to get paid to game. Which is it?
-
Who streams for money ? I can't think of 1 streamer who asks for donations.
-
I don't watch streams with somebody's ugly mug in the corner.
-
Does twitch offer good benefits to their employees? Paid time off? How about retirement and pensions? Just wondering how "sweet" of a job it really is.
-
How does this have any effect on the OP at all?
-
OP is mad because no one will watch his stream and he's unsuccessful. So if he can't have everything handed to him by mommy, then no one should be able to.
-
It is simple. They provide entertainment just like TV shows or musicians. You don't have to like it, but other people do
-
I swear 99% of the streamer haters are just jealous. If you could make money staying at home playing a game you would in a heat beat. As far as the people that pay, who cares?? None of your business how they spend their money. Stop being a jealous hater and put that saved energy towards getting yourself out that Burger King job.

I'm considering streaming but my upload speed is garbage, I'd find a real job except there aren't any available, unemployment is real folks and its not from a lack of trying to find jobs I've tried, went to interviews, job fairs, the works, I show up on time or earlier in my best clothes, companies just don't want to hire anyone who doesn't have 20 years experience doing anything, They want to act like being a cashier at mcdonalds is skilled labor but that shits easier than building ikea furniture, you want to know the reason there are so many startups now ? its because of these practices those people couldn't find work or didn't like their current job so they made their own sure eventually this startup stuff will die down but not until companies stop there idiotic hiring policies but by the time they do a startup will already be eating away at their profits and honestly I hope these startups start poaching workers from these major companies maybe then they'll change their hiring policies. I shit you not I worked as a temp out at a company that thought people were going to work for $9.00 an hour as a career (ie long term) you can't do shit on $9.00 an hour you sure as shit can't afford any of the apartments in the area shits like $720 - $800+ a month. So for some of these streamers thats the only way they can make enough cash to afford a modest lifestyle if you want to equate that with begging go ahead but the fact remains they are getting cash and will continue to get cash with or without your help (but I know most of you guys calling it begging are jealous). TL;DR: you haters are jealous you aren't getting money for it, its a legitimate service/job, big corporate companies are the reason this became a thing their refusal to hire people led to people starting their own job/careers or companies.
-
OP is an uneducated child that has no idea what hes talking about. Just ignore this garbage, carry on guardians.
-
Define a job.
-
There is a market for it, that is why it exists. If a streamer wasn't getting donations they wouldn't stream 40+ hours a week. Many people enjoy the steam and want to ensure the streamer can continue to give them entertainment on a regular basis.
-
Dude it's a job. Sorry you can't get that easy of a job. They need money to put food on the table as well.
