All it could use is a decrease in rate of fire, and big decrease in range. I run thorn 99% of the time (check my stats if you don't believe me) and I agree that I shouldn't be able to out gun a sniper and a scout rifle at long distances, which I do outgun them 90% of the time.
It's range needs to go down a hell a lot
