Self revive is no more of a crutch than the titan bubble or a Hunters invisibility.

Correction: wearing purifier robes and using self res is now used in a similar fashion to flash bang. No longer a crutch!

You have to make a mistake b4 you self-rez...

And if you are a titan and in big trouble, just before you die, pop a bubble, its basically a self res. As for the hunter, try going and reviving someone in a dangerous spot without the invisibility, you wont, cos you die.
