Honestly I feel it's only fair that people playing since release back in September deserve to keep using the guns they worked for. In a game that's all about loot and progression, it's not fair for someone to work for a gun, spend almost 20 ascendant energy to max it out, and not be allowed to use it. People getting the game now will have no idea how frustrating. "Upgrade Damage" and "Upgrade Defense" nodes were.
