I wasn't saying the SoF was making continuous random jumps inciting "deep space anomalies", I was saying that the SoF could be responsible for the "anomalies". Its easily possible the Flood used what was left of the ship to accumulate more biomass and really stir up some trouble. Why else would it be so hush hush? The UNSC was reluctant to let out any info on the Spartans, let alone the greatest threat the galaxy has even known.
I didn't state the SoF could make a jump, I was saying that they blindly flew off in a direction away from the Shield World and obviously still had power to the engines to do so. My point was that the Flood controlled ship could be wrecking shit, not the fact that it was slipspace jumping. If it were jumping, it'd already have been located by now, or made an attempt at the galaxy's throat.
