Earlier today, I was playing Iron Banner, minding my own business, getting shot by Thorn after Thorn, my team wins a round and THE GUY IN LAST -BLAM-MING PLACE ON THE TEAM THAT LOST BAGGED HIMSELF A HAWKMOON while the best my team could get was a BAD, RARE AUTO RIFLE! My first reaction was "Wait, someone got Hawkmoon?!" Then it turned into outright DISGUST because some dude in last place (on the enemy team that lost) got a Hawkmoon.
So I ask you this Bungie:
Rework RNG so that it favors skilled players on winning teams
OR
Force us to keep at this abject MISERY where noobs who did *nice word* all gets a Gally and a Thunderlord in a single drop.
The odds I want are here:
Winning team:
1st MVP: Guaranteed Legendary
2nd-3rd MVP: High Legendary chance
4th-6th: guaranteed AT LEAST 1 rare and a low chance at Legendary
Losing team:
1st: guaranteed rare with a very low Legendary chance
2nd-4th: a chance for a rare
5th-6th: small chance at ANYTHING up to Rare quality
Edit: exotics shouldn't drop from Crucible anymore, kudos to Slickrick786 for suggesting

I just had a great match in IB and had the highest score. I received a Monte Carlo in a drop, and while I already have one, I was very pleased because I felt that I earned it. I think tiered rewards could act in a better fashion than the RNG as we've all seen RNGesus spite our efforts and reward a Gjallarhorn to the toolbox in last place. Keep the RNG and have it act to SUPPLEMENT a tiered rewards. If you kill a million Dregs, you should get something for your effort. If you capture 100 Control points the same. The possibilities are only hampered by the reliance of random carrot on a stick design that Destiny seems to want to stick with.
