Destiny is modeled after MMOs sorry you weren't informed. Oh and that's why match making wasn't implemented.

Oh dear! I think you're getting your acronyms confused. MMO has no real bearing on whether MM should be implemented or not and is, in no way, a strong argument against implementation. MM is just another mechanic within a game to allow players to play together. Nothing more.
