*Shadow begins to walk with you* "I know your pain, and the best way to hide it. Want to wash it away in liquor with me?"

"Oh I do indeed..." *I direct you to the lift tube, and step in* "Computer, Bar please." **Commander Shadow recognized, welcome** *The lift tube begins to drop, and as the doors open and loud music and lights blast us* "Welcome to the Bar"

* I look around letting my senses adjust* Well this is lively.

[spoiler]Imagine the Mos Eisely Cantina, but futuristic[/spoiler] *You see a bar in the middle of the room in an oval shape with men and women in casual uniform drinking various liquids. Booths line the sides, except the far side where a small rock band plays. Shadow steps out of the tube and takes an empty seat at the bar*

* I also take a seat, looking around the room.* Its been awhile since I was in a bar. Not since... *I shake my head* Anyway what is there to drink?

*The bartender looks over then quickly makes his way over* "Ah hello commander. What brings you here?" *Shadow* "This fellow here needs to drown his sorrow. Hit us up with two of the usual" *The bartender gives you a strange look, then nods and places two large plastic cups on the bar before walking off* *Shadow* "While he gets out drinks, how do you like my ship?"

(Me) without a doubt the most impressive I've seen. It is a thing of beauty, a weapon that has a purpose. Are there many like it?

"This is only a small cruiser, not even a battleship or a dreadnaught. This is the only one I managed to salvage and fix up after the Manticore system collapsed. The rest of the entire Manticorian Navy is just floating in orbit around dead planets in far away solar systems."

* It sinks in* You mean as powerful as this ship is there are more that could toss it away like a plaything. *then it hits me* I'm sorry, you lost your planet to eh?

"No, just one of my many homes.." *The bartender returns with a plastic pitcher in hand and begins to pour a bubbling dark green liquid into both of our cups* "Ah... Thank you" *The bartender nods, then moves on*

* I look down and swirl the green liquid in the glass, sniff it* What is it?

"Evil Juice!!" *I grab the cup, a bit falls out and eats its way through the wood of the bar* "I just love this stuff" *I take a huge swig of it* [spoiler]Imagine about 20 shots of good Russian vodka in each drop of the stuff. It's that potent.[/spoiler]

* I shake my head and then down the cup, almost cringing as it goes down* That is strong, you were right. It puts my stuff to shame. *I then pour another from the pitcher*

*I laugh, already partially drunk* "Now if only my fairy friend would show up, then it would be a party... Heh. She sure knows how to have a good time." *I take another drink, a slightly smaller one*

*has a confused slightly drunk look* Fairy friend? *takes a second to reflect and the laughs* You know after all this you'd think nothing would surprise me. *drinks second drink*

*I laugh, reeling a bit* "You know... I've always wondered something"

*I look up from my drink* What would that be?

"How many licks does it take to get to the center of a toosie pop? I've lived for over 10,000 years and have never found the answer." *I shrug and take another drink*

* I laugh pouring another drink* That's a long time devoted to a human candy. Ten thousand years, you've aged well.
