*after a day of morning the entire base seems to be in jubilant celibration. Civilians crowd the bars along with some soldiers and sailors. The rest celebrate in their respective barracks. I rejoin my old unit for the celibration, one of them is an aspiring guitar player. Many bottles of vodka are broken out to celibrate*

*sighs* why do I have to be stuck with guard duty tonight of all nights *shifts scope from .308 Remington to a hostile animals* lets see how many of these guys I can kill before I am noticed...
-
*Shadow steps through the door* "Well well well. Looks like I'm late to the party. Well, better late then never!!!!" *The party continues*
-
* I am playing the knife game with another soldier, neck and neck until I pick up the speed and he cannot match it. I notice shadow enter and get up to greet her.* Ah, the guest of honor arrives, how are you?
-
"I'm fine now, the arm is back* *I hold up both arms to show* "Just a night's rest and a few bottles of purple potion."
-
* I laugh* Glad to hear it, may I offer you one of the last bottles of Moscow's finest *I pick up the bottle I just won from the soldier and offer it to her*
-
*I take it and down a chug* "You know.... This is actually Scandinavian vodka. Whoever labeled this was obviously trying to cheat you. But since it's better than actual Russian vodka, believe it or not, I highly approve."
There is no place for logic at a party.
-
*the commander walks through the door with a squad of privates carrying cases.* Well well well what do we have here? A party? Well as commanding officer I must do something about this. Like... *i open the first case and lift our two kegs and a large bottle of authentic RUSSIAN vodka which I hand to Lima.* "Provide the beer, the entertainment." *opens the next one which is full of an assortment of dart boards and throwing knives as well as a foot ball and other games. Also a beer pong table.* "And last but not least, the music." * I open the last case and pull out a fiddle and a guitar. Which are traditional musical instruments from my country. I hand them to two privates and they start playing as another grabs a saxophone and people start dancing.*
-
* I look back at the soldier I won it off and he to is confused* No, makes Vodka better than my people, I guarantee it. * I pick up my half finished bottle and drink some. So anyway, anything interesting happen, I mean besides the arm?
-
"Oh yea, one of me is fighting a lady with a roman god's name. Another is taking care of her brand new dragon, and another is off on a mission for Valmredia" *I take another swig of the Scandinavian vodka*
I consider other threads part of the #Offtopic Multiverse.
-
* I look at the bottle the admiral handed me* More time/multiverse stuff? * I put the bottle I was drinking on the table and open the new bottle.*
-
"Yeeeeep. They also say hi." *Takes another swig, but finds the bottle now empty*
-
*I chuckle a bit and offer another* Well it would be rude not to say hi back. * one of the older soldiers gets everyone to quite for the toast* (Him) To fallen comrades! (The rest) To fallen comrades!
-
Edited by TwiggierTiger22: 6/10/2015 2:40:39 AM*I raise the new bottle* "To fallen comrades indeed. May the lucky bastards enjoy their retirement."
-
*everyone remains silent for a moment before returning to what they were doing.* So how are you aware of you other selves?
-
"We are basically the same person. Normal people cannot do this, but since we all are made of the darkness itself, we can communicate and move around the multiverse with relative ease."
-
*I think for a second* So, if you are made of darkness are you made of evil or are the element and the moral principle different from each other? * I drink some more hoping I didn't just cross a line*
-
"It's really whatever we chose it to be. Some of me have gone bad, some not so. Some went insane, others went to be geniuses and are now living like queens." *I gesture at myself* "I chose to wander, to defend others, to help those who need it. But yes, we are also made of the elemental darkness. Hence the name, Shadow."
-
* I nod hoping I didn't pry to much* It is nobler to fight against ones nature, choosing instead of simply acting on instinct. In any rate I'm glad, had you not decided to wander, I would be dead. * I raise my bottle in toast before drinking some more*
-
*Is always happy to share stories about her history* "So, what horrific event made you want to join the military?"
-
*i have a genuinely puzzled look* My family has a strong military tradition dating back to the great patriotic war(WWII-Russian front) I was and am honored to serve, but I never thought I would make General.
-
"Really? Looks like it's in the family business for you. My poor mom got thrown into a war with a school verses an insane organization. Not fun at all."
-
Doesn't sound like it at all, how did it turn out?
How do you keep track of the rivers of blood to, it's all over the place
-
I got two characters and look for ones that they would be in and just ignore the rest.
"The school won, but it was a long and bloody war. Kids with superpowers and magic fighting against highly weaponized soldiers, tanks, mechs; pretty much a whole army went after a few hundred kids." *I laugh* "And the kids won."
-
ah, that makes sense I suppose.
Wow, I don't think that would have happened on earth, almost know it wouldn't. The kids winning I mean. I suppose it's your turn to ask a question.
-
"Nah, that would be prying" *Is completely oblivious to your prying*
And I need some sleep.
