Edited by KimHasselager: 6/10/2015 9:03:21 AMIt seems my perks sucks then compared to the rest of you guys.. Anyway I am not gonna re roll mine, as I am pretty happy with it. Some of the perks I got on my 2 shotguns and love.... Crowd control - works great for clearing out a few enemies at once combined with melee.. Flared magwell - helps on the stupid reload on shotguns Rangefinder and send it - both helps on range ( Cool enough with warlock that has extended melee ) Final round/luck in chamber - Shotguns got a "small" mag size, so this appears to let this extra dmg be quite often. Works awesome for big fellas as well. Full auto - just great for smashing adds quicker - works fine with faster reload.... I do not have: grave robber, but if the % is high enough, this would be one I would love to be able to acquire... I often clear adds, e.g. on PoE(boss fights etc ) - and melee+shotgun is normally used I think... a melee and shotgun hit = powerful way to smash adds quick. And with melee to refill mag, it's gonna be an effective way to be able to continue doing it.. Field choke is also fine, if you get into close range, as then you'll hit the target anyway :) Shotpackage is good for PVP and PvE, where you only fight few enemies at once.... These are for PvE build mainly...

Edited by UberLord Parker: 6/10/2015 1:01:08 AMHere... you can look at all of the available perks http://db.planetdestiny.com/items/view/1054959830 Everyone will have different opinions on shotguns and perks... but for PvP, I recommend: •Aggressive Ballistics or Field Choke •Shot Package •Rifled Barrel (or Small Bored for LiTC) •Final Round (or LiTC) NOTE: PC+1's hidden stat, Aim Assist, is a STAGGERING 70... Felwinter's Lie & Matador-64 can't even come close to touching that... this make landing your pellets at EXTREME ranges very reliable (especially with Shot Package). For PvE/PoE: Full Auto w/whatever else works for you. Have fun... and Happy Hunting Guardian ;)

Priorities: 1) shot package 2) rifled barrel/reinforced barrel 3) aggressive ballistics/field choke This set up will give you the max range and max impact you can have with a shotgun, with shot package it will be top tier.

The main perk you want is Shot Package. The second perk is up to you really. Final Round is nice, but in a rough situation you're not gonna wanna have to reload right away. I have Army Of One on mine. Bonus perks would be Agressive Ballistics for the first tree and for the second ANYTHING that gives you more range preferably Rifled Barrel.
