Since the EU is pretty much considered fanfiction(which is ridiculous. i.e, the only true thing Delta Squad did was recover some bodies. smh), my favorite character would have to be Anakin Skywalker.
Now, if we're considering everything Star Wars, then it's a close debate between several characters:
1.Darth Maul,
2.Darth Bane,
3.Boba Fett(obviously, if you know anything),
4.can't forget my boy Cade Skywalker,
5.Mace Windu. If he wasn't badass enough already, Shatterpoint.
6. Darth Caedus(Jacen Solo)
7. Darth Plageuis, the wise
8. The Indomitable (one of the Mandalore's)
9. Revan. (obviously.)
10. Naga Sadow (because of the GHW)

It's a book that is all about Windu. The book gets its name based off of the ability that Windu has where he basically can find weaknesses in objects to shatter them. It also explains his "fighting style" (more of a state of mind) called vaapad - which requires him to essentially brush the edges of the dark side/use his inner darkness to use the form properly.
