I guess I should rephrase that and say I am a fan of rap, but all I really know and enjoy is Del. to me that's real rap (again though I'm not very knowledgable on the subject). He says something to the effect of "sound waves that pound the pavement" on the Deltron 3030 album and I love that! I've really only listened to that album and it's so good, and I think that phrase describes it pretty well. I listened to it again this morning on my way to work after replying to this thread last night, and fell in love with it all over again haha. Gave me goosebumps at some points! Just the whole concept of the album is really cool, his lyrics are everything from smart/science-y to call-you-out aggressive and the variety keeps it interesting. He's a mastermind!
