Eminem writes songs that are fun, songs that show his skills, and songs with depth and meaning. Aside from a few of the legends like Tupac, who do you want to put up against him? He'd crush any current rapper.

I agree. He has skill, but isn't even in my top 100. Never dug him.

Let's cut him some slack, he's been in the game for a while. He's still good for 41 years old. It's understandable that some of the young guns will start to step into the lime-light.

No doubt. But it's got nothing to do with his age. He's talented. There's no denying it at all. I like Eminem. But regardless of his accomplishments and his work - past or present - there are better writers out there than him. I was just disagreeing with him being GOAT. It's like this obsession with Pac and Biggie. Great artists, great writers... But certainly not the greatest to have ever touched the genre.

he is literally one of the first underground/battle rapper to go main stream, winning the battle rap Olympics got him noticed by Dr. Dre. he has two domains records and a massive amount of awards. Google it man he is the best rapper to ever live.

But there are far better writers than him now. Ever) Take something like them. Or take Eyedea as an example - his rhymes might not always be pristine, and his style is a little different. But he is on another level of mental capacity to Eminem or even most artists out there. Again, I can't stress the respect I have for Em as an artist, but there are simply better writers out there (especially now).
