And? Gravity is observant from birth. There's no need to put it up for debate. Creationism is a theory? So what? Why not rely on what we know to be true, logical, and sound?

His religion is more logical than to assume we never had a cause; therefore, according to evolution, we should all die.

  •
His religion is more logical than to assume we never had a cause; therefore, according to evolution, we should all die.
Wrong. That's blatantly false. Evolution does not assume we don't have a cause. And we should all die? Wtf? Seriously dude... Are you a troll? I find it impossible to believe that after all this time you don't understand evolution.

  • With evolution there is no point in life. Most of the evolutionists I've met say death is an eternal feeling of peace. If this is true then why not just kill yourself? You can achieve said peace and your family will be.happy you did. With creation there is a purpose. To serve the one who created us and be accepted into his kingdom.

  • A nonsensical point. Idk why ppl try to make evolution out to be much more than it is. It's simply a change in the gene frequency overtime. Like I said to the other guy, that is nothing like what you said. That's why your post is nonsense.

  • What is your opinion? Do you think there is a point to life?

  • I think the point of life is different to every form of life.

  • But with no god what is there to live for? We are just savage animals who came from apes. How did we develop a conscience? How do we know right from wrong?

I don't believe any of that whatsoever. But before I answer. You answer this. What does any of what you said, specifically
With evolution there is no point in life.
have to do with evolution? The general definition being,
the process by which different kinds of living organisms are thought to have developed and diversified from earlier forms during the history of the earth
• Most evolutionists believe in atheism, correct? Sorry if I confused you but I just want to show with a God there is a point to life.

  • It's not that you confused me. I'm trying to point out to you that everything you are saying has nothing to do with evolution. Even if most "evolutionists", believed in atheism.
(which BTW doesn't make sense because atheism isn't a belief.)
The idea that with "evolution there is no point in life", has nothing to do with the change in gene frequency overtime. If I believe that evolution occurs, what does that have to do with not having a point in life?

  • Forget I said anything. I was turning this into an atheism vs theism argument since most of the people on this topic start arguing as to why there is or isn't a God.

We shouldn't have a cause. We shouldn't even have a conscience. We shouldn't even be considering origins, but we do, and we still proceed to think with that mentality that our complex biology is ever-changing but the Physics behind abiogenesis isn't. It's hypocritical, and it promotes a complex paradox that literally abandons what we teach in science, the Big Bang. ...and yet we accept it.

  • No it doesn't. It simply doesn't. Evolution is just genetic change in species throughout the generations. The theory behind it simply explains why it happens. None of that mentions what you said. If anything you may be talking about a philosophy based on the idea behind natural selection. And no one holds to that lol

  • Evolution, apparently, is always focused on the now, not on the origin, and I understand that I'll always receive that "Evolution is not abiogenesis" excuse once every atheist comes to that road block.

That's false. And it doesn't focus on the origin, because the theory of evolution was specifically hypothesised to explain the diversity of life. Not why there is life or where it came from. It was not developed to deal with the origin of life. That's like saying, damn this English text book for not helping me with my Math homework.

  • Not really, there's some science behind the creation of the universe. Not that I understand it, or ever will, but it's there
