As night falls across the colonies, the inhabitants hear a sonic clap, and look to the sky to see what looks like a small ship burning up in orbit, and watch it as it lands on the edge of the visible horizon.

*A crash team in Valkyries transports rush to see what they can do for the falling ship.*

After the ship has cooled down enough to explore, you begin searching it through a shuttle hanger who's door has been ripped asunder.

That was a big boom
-
'The crash continues to burn, and small explosions caused by overheating ammunition continue into the night.'

*the crash team arrives and begins to search for survivors*

Upon closer examination of a scorched supply crate, you find it bears the mark of the Void Wolves.

*the crash team tries to contact sigmar or his chapter, the message explaining the situation and giving the location. The continue to explore the wreck.*

When you notice the message has been sent, you hear a loud beeping noise, several rooms down the next corridor.

*they pick and unlucky bastard to go check out the beeping while they continue to search the ship.*

After the survivor is dragged outside, one of your medics start spraying off the Marines armor, looking for identification, and he informs you that the survivor is Sigmar himself.

*the crew stands in awe for a moment but then moves into action to get sigmar to a medical facility*

As the search continues, and the exterior watch crew continues to put out small fires, you find that the wreck is none other than the Battle Barge [i]Anvil[/i]. The search of the interior doesn't bode well either, with only one other survivor being found aboard the bridge, his Terminator armor ripped nearly to pieces, and the man inside critically wounded.

[spoiler]its a bit of everything sigmar is from wahammer 40k, there are elements of halo, destiny and other games. I'm a mix of wahammer and some other stuff[/spoiler]
