[b]wrote this in response to another post talking about the new subclass rumors recently coming out... but thought I'd share here with my fellow titans.[/b] -I've lashed out at my enemies with the arc power coursing through my being. I've willed it to leave destruction in my wake, broken bodies as calling cards when my crackling arc energy dissipates. I've grown. I've learned to manipulate void energy. Use it to create a barrier between foes and I. I've gone farther and learned to construct a ward for my allies, protection in the face of ever present danger. To embody teammates and myself with greater protection, or enhanced damage to deal out. I've grown. As I master the energy of arc and void, my experience only grooms me for my newest challenge. I've learned to devastate in one swift attack. I've learned to protect and support in one fluid motion. I'm thankful for the lessons of arc and void. Forever useful they'll be. But a new lesson is ready... I've studied the hunter and thier arc attacks. With respect I've observed and been humbled many times by the feats they accomplish with such little armor and small frames. Thier blade dance is... quite entrancing, rhythmic, agile and deadly. And while I may never move so fluidly, I see much promise in such a versatile attack. So I shall train in the power of Solar energy. But a blade does not suit a titan. The hunter shall maintain that aspect of battle. And while impressive, a Warlock's manipulation of energy doesn't seem to suit me either. No Titans... we know the tools we use. We use our fists. Let us forge a mighty hammer, blocky like a clenched fist of a titan, strong and intimidating like the myth of mjolnir from past days. Let us channel the solar energy thru ourselves and this deadly instrument, striking fear into our enemies as we smash our way across the field, sprinting from target to target in an orange firey glow as we swing our two handed instrument of destruction. And as we return it from use, let it find its home on our back instead of these weapons we swap thru so frequently. Only to be hidden from view when we move back to the teachings of the void and arc subclasses we've become familiar with. That is what this titan desires my brethren in battle. Let us bask in the arrival of a new power, and be ready to embrace all that it holds. Until then. summary- I'd like to see the solar subclass have a two handed hammer we can use as a multiple attack weapon like the hunters blade dancer. I'd also like to see it strapped/attached to the Titans back instead of displaying whatever weapon (while the solar class is chosen) Hope you enjoyed the read!
