In the grand scheme of life, I agree people who think their KD is important and something to place a lot of pride in are entirely foolish. On the other hand, checking people's Trials of Osiris KD can be a good indication of whether or not they are going to be a good teammate. I usually try and make sure that people have at least a 1.3 Trials KD, because it means that they can do more than just pull their weight, they can pull the rest of the teams as well if needed. Everyone has bad games from time to time, and if they have a bad game I can pick up the slack. However if I have a bad game, I want to know that they can do the same for me.

Then offer a counter point. Your ToO kd will do absolutely shit in real life and there are very few players who actually care about their kd so I will say it again, it doesn't really matter.
