The leader looks at him like he's crazy,
"if that's true how can we trust you? In any case we should get you back to the ship, you've clearly been traumatized"

'No! None of us can leave!" * he pulls out a detonator* This is connected to the ship's engines. If anything leaves the force of a 15 megaton nuke goes off

The leader raises his weapon "Shit man, just calm down we're gonna get you to a doctor. Just hand me the detonator, it doesn't have to end like this."

Suddenly a tendril pierces the man's skull and he drops. A new voice is heard. "Give us a host..."
-
The rest of the men open up on the tendril and radio to the ships that if they go dark they are dead and they will use a prearranged pass code to prove it is them.

One tendril grabs the leader, pushes him through the vent, and puts him in the cargo bay. Away from his squad. It stands before you. "Helllllllllllllllllllllllllllo......"

He raises his weapon ready to fire if it breathes wrong. "What the hell are you and what do you want."

"I. Have no name. WE. want freedom."

He looks at the creature before him "From what I've seen you may be to dangerous to have your freedom. If you are let go then what"

'Then. I help live. You will give me the means of my freedom or I will take it."

He narrows his eyes. "Help what live?"
-
"Our hosts."
-
He shifts his weight keeping his gun trained on the creature. "How do you select your hosts?"

"Thoooooose who I deem worthy..."

The Soldier shifts to the left a bit. " so you would take people by force?"
-
"No."
-
"So they have a choice then, and why were the crew so afraid of you?"
-
He smiles a toothy smile "Their sacrifices have helped me learn about this cycle. I was in a stasis pod and they released me. I hungered.

The leader moves left a little more. "You just killed them, how do I know you won't do it again?"
-
"I could easily kill you, take your body and memories, and walk off this shuttle claiming the 'monster' is dead."

He laughs to himself for some reason "You could, but something tells me no one would believe you. In any rate you have me stumped. I can just let you go, you're to dangerous but I don't know that you deserve to die."

He laughs a horrible laugh "You assume you have a choice!"

He laughs at this, but stands his ground. "There is always a choice, but I think we might come to an agreement." [spoiler]hey this guy is a throwaway NPC but how do you want this to go down, your guy gonna play nice?[/spoiler]

[spoiler]he gets what he wants and he wants food[/spoiler] "I think I already made one..." He slowly advances on him

The leader dives out of the way as a soldier in the door way behind him fires a rail gun. He stands up and fires at the creature.

He shields himself from the railgun "Did I mention...One of the people I absorbed was a weapon specialist? And that I might've done something to your gun?" The minute he fires his gun it explodes, taking off his hand. He Grabs the soldier in the door way and gruesomely eats him.
