That is not a lot of hours. Do all of your nfs, raids, poe, etc.

I'm at almost 500 (which still isn't a huge amount). Been playing since day 1. I don't have it.

Only 270 hours really? Maybe its because you have zero raid completions making it that you have almost times where you have had chance on an exotic drop, you know what why don't you just xurn it?

I got mine today from a legendary heavy engram dropped from a vanguard dragon strike. It's random. I've played since last September and only now got one.

Dude, there are no tips. Just luck. My boy was a level 25 hunter last monday, after IB level 29, by Thur level 30, and last night did his first poe after doing queens mission and got his first Gally from poe28. He has a total, adding all 3 characters together, 19.5 hours of gameplay. All random, dude. My first gally was in the Nov/dec time frame after release. I was lv28 hunter doing VoG for the very first time. My second was nightfall. Its all random.

Play by the numbers... 3 nightfalls 3 exotic chests in vog 3 hard atheon kills 3 deathsinger kills 3 hard crota kills Open 3 big chests in poe (assuming you can get 3 keys) There's 18 chances there. Every week Failing that... just consistently come last in crucible. I got the gjallarhorn at a little over 150 hours. It's not about the sheer volume of time put into finding a gjallarhorn but how you use that time
