Which, of course, is incorrect. Which is why I brought that up. Do you put both bookends on one side of your shelf? So just like the ISO is incorrect for most of the planet on the date being Month/Day... It's incorrect on the days of the week for most of the world as well, and even alters how the Romans created it... Sunday first. Also, a common theme across all the worlds major religions. The sun came first.

  • Dude I'm not getting into an agreement on the days of the week on an Internet forum that's just stupid. You Americans do whatever makes you happy. All I'm pointing out is for the rest of the world the accepted standard is day/month/year and the week starts on Monday.

  • It isn't an American thing..... That's just it. It's ALL of the Americas, north and south. It's China, India and the Pacific Islands. You're quite outnumbered. Sunday is the first day of the week. The Islamic world has weekends on Friday and Saturday... The first day of the week is Sunday. In Saudi Arabia, it's Thursday and Friday. So, again, the ISO is incorrect. Their calendars start a week on Saturday. So just like the ISO is wrong for most of the worlds population writing dates as MMDD, it's wrong on the printed calendar. So... Crazy American that. We're following the "standard" and you aren't on one, and you're following the "standard" and we aren't on the other. Crazy Europeans.
