We were fighting crota hard and with a few sword strikes left to take it out.We were running away to the core to wait for crota to reposition to the center. I was the first in and I was watching our sword bearer struggle to make his way back. Unfortunately, he didn't make it. The oversoul opens to swallow our victory. Honestly, I assumed that it was over as I watched everything become orange. The others in our team tried to throw a few last second shots...
Then!
A hunter with the celestial hawk helmet jumps from the right side... while airborne between crota on one side pointing and I in on the other side grasping the controller with frustration with a small ray of hope sparking from the long shot this hunter is willing to pull.
He pulls out his golden gun and raises it up in the air and before he made his fall! He shot one bullet... the oversoul has been devoured by his courageous shot.
The fireteam chanted in joy and our spirit pushed us all out to ravage crota.
The hunter takes out the sword bearer and as the song started to play... we rain crota with everything we got til fell on his knees... the hunter pops out and ravages three strikes delivering the killer blow. The oversoul rised. Thralls came from everywhere, boomers were choking eachother... nothing was gonna stop that hunter.
Shout out to magus_warlock for grabbing that victory from the gutter. Good job
