How are people so good at sniping?!
I consider myself a decent sniper, but when I go into Crucible, I'm wrecked beyond belief. There are guys who headshot me the very second they scope in. It's -blam!-ing ridiculous! I don't understand how they do it!
EDIT: A lot of people are saying that they get their skill from Halo. However, I actually snipe very well in Halo, but not-so-well in Destiny.

snapshot/lag? all a good sniper needs is a split-second to line-up the shot, and him having snapshot gives him a better window, as well as even a tiny bit of lag gives him a split-second to react before you can too. also some people move like their on rails, so predictable. SERPENTINE!!

Edited by Zero One: 6/14/2015 2:39:11 AMNever owned a sniper with final round but I play a lot of shooters so Destiny isn't too hard to snipe in. Also sniping in halo 2, 3, reach helps as well. I also play bf4 and when you can snipe there.....m

As everyone is saying, it's simply practice when it comes to sniping quickly (othewise it's map awareness also). If you want to get better you should be (trying to) quickscope the heck outta the ai when doing pve.

I'm definitely not the best sniper but my advice would be to know the best sight lines and choke points on maps where you can snipe players without being completely in the open

It's a Halo thing. A lot of people follow the target but only do that if you sweep. For the most part, what you really want to do is place your scope on where they're heading next, it's prediction at work.

Have the sniper at head level at all times. That means you only need to have to adjust one axis if you have good map knowledge
