From the fortifications along the north wall we are able to see streaks of red flame falling towards New Terra. While they do so the sky turns a malevolent concoction of red, purple, and black. A large explosion is heard in the distance as the objects impact the ground. For awhile nothing happens and then in the distance is the sound of marching.

The sight we see next we are all unprepared for, it's as if a legion of hell is on our doorstep. A feeling of dread fills us all as they just stand there intimidatingly. (Over comms) "hold fire till my order, artillery prepare an opening salvo."

The demonic host moves forward slowly and menacingly. I radio for the artillery to open fire and the vanguard of their forces are torn to shreds but more still come. "All troops open fire keep them away from the perimeter" With that gun fire erupts and the daemons charge us.
