Pretty poor for a riddle, in terms of context from the way its explained it means the said individual "cabal" is controlled by externals forces.
It is your first. Context is everything, keep it in mind.

I understand how it could have been interpreted wrong, but then again, riddles are not literal. Blind could be taken as "The Blind Legion" or also blind, as in their shield covers there eyes. And if they can't see, who would have to be their eyes? Their fellow Cabal, who are external forces. Sorry I lashed out like that, mate!

I'm almost certain the true answer was discovered too early, and in an attempt to keep the thread going, the OP came up with another one.

Think what you want. I had my answer the whole time, but if you think it's something else, be my guest, keep guessing.

I think that you need to shut up.

Cool story bro.

Edited by Darkoverlord99: 6/14/2015 2:25:35 AMTried my best. In all honestly, I think the context and wording threw people off more than intended. Maybe I'll do another and try harder. And in terms of explaining, I meant there's a double meaning in the name, phalanx is a tight military formation, and that they often come in multiples. Probably shoulda said that, but mea culpa.

Maybe unintentionally, but in the grimoire it says that the shield has a sensor that scans the environment to benefit the other cabal it fights with. The whole riddle, other than the "blind" bit makes sense
-
It was implied to be more hive than anything due to the blind reference. Still good though, go through the grimore and you'll find some really good ones to make.

The great riddler, Horizon, taking a riddle from an amateur(compared to him) literally. Nice!

Lol. Did you even read some of the replies? "Um.. the Speaker?" No, the Speaker has eyes. Yeah, no shit. So do the Cabal.

I don't know if you saw his other post or not, but he basically said that this is shit and his are better. This isn't about the other people, this is about him not understanding that riddles are not to be taken literal, and how he couldn't solve it, even after a wise comment like that.

You're right. Huh. It's like I haven't done this before. Shocker...
-
So now I'm CERTAIN your a child.

I didn't really mean it to imply hive, but remember that I have a different perspective than you. We could see the same riddle and think of a million different answers. That's why I love seeing all the guesses I didn't think of.
