I have no problem looking for teammates. Creates a better experience in my opinion. MM I minus well be playing with robots. When I invite people to play and they join I always say hey what's up they respond then I ask questions like have you done trials this week or what exotics are you hoping for. Inviting people to play basically breaks the ice and in MM you stay quiet cause you don't want to be the weirdo trying to make bathroom conversation in a since. I don't mind it

So you would choose to not use the optional MM. That is fine. There would be others that would like it and use it, that is fine too. Everyone is different. This one size fits all mentality that Bungie has is burning and hindering their new IP.

Even bathroom conversation requires some social skill and I assume that the pro OMM faction here has deficits, simply is not willing to make "online-friends" or is afraid of being rejected due to lack of skill/equipment.
