I just think that the Thorn's DOT shouldn't be displayed.
It seems like that is the problem I encounter when I face off against a Thorn. I'll get hit, take cover in the distance, and will find myself rushed by the Thorn user, because they know exactly where I hid, or informed a teammate where I was heading.
In a fast paced FPS, knowing where your opponent is, how they move, to me is everything. Having a 2 second knowledge on their direction, cover or any sort of whereabouts is very overpowered.
In many other FPS, that sort of knowledge is rewarded based on successful kills, usually without deaths, or with special feats. I don't doubt that I can beat a Thorn, I find my Scout Rifle does just fine against it, but if I take one shot, just one, I'm usually SOL, they rush in, and even with a Shotgun, I can't face off against the DOT, and two others coming at me.
If it gets nerfed, I would prefer that it would not show you the damage on screen, just because it is a serious tactical advantage in my books.

With that being said then no grenade that does DoT should be displayed... For example warlock or hunter grenades...

But grenades are on a cool down timer, thorn isn't

That isn't the argument... The DoT tracking is. It's just another thing to adjust to really. People just wanna run around spamming gun fire at things instead of playing tactically.

See thats a tough call for me, as that part of the perk is very useful in pve, like when you have to keep trying to find a little douche enemy that keeps hiding. What they really need to do, is figure out how to seperate PvP and PvE, so they can adjust one without harming the other.

That is reasonable. I have no problem with not displaying damage, I just don't want to see more nerfs.
