Does Bungie beta test their patches?

Myself and a lot of other players feel that Bungie makes us test their game; that we are playing a big fat beta, who's profits will fund a much better Destiny 2. It honestly seems like they couldn't care less about Destiny, or maybe that's the nature of a console based "mmo". Edit: Would it be that hard to ask a small portion of the community to beta test? Give them some sort of temporary buff or bonus for doing it. Edit 2: In the login screen, why not have the option to play in a test server; a public beta environment of sorts. Bungie gets to skip out on testing stuff themselves, and we get proper content. Idea by smokingsince88.

  • To all the people saying no, I think you may be misinformed. I mean I'm not positive it's bungie specifically going through all the testing. But the way patches work, it does take time, every console will have testing done with the patch before it's even allowed to be released as a patch. That's why patches can take some time, sometimes companies have to resubmit a patch because there was too much wrong and they have to readjust and fix enough issues to pass. The fact bungie can put out some of the patches as quick as they have it a little surprising
