This is what I was thinking, but it's not. Doesn't make sense with the conductor part.

I really can't think of any "U" shaped conductors in the encounter besides the massive "U" behind Crota when he spawns in. Still, I don't see how this could be a conductor or conduct anything.

I think of the Siphon Witches encounter mostly, but that's all. This is really getting me!
