Sardon. The boss knight at the shrine of oryx. It makes sense with the tearing of reality. The arena is a U shape.

The shrine is conducting power from the hive dimension (or however the ghost phrased it)

but the riddle says that the conductor is U-shaped, and only the center is conducting power

Who said anything about conducting? It is a conductor. I did not specify whether or not it was actively performing its function.
