Collector's Edition Exclusives for People Who Own Destiny and Both Expansions
I would like for Bungie to make it clear if those of us who already own Destiny and both expansions will be able to obtain the "Collector's Edition Exclusives" (3 Emotes, 3 Shaders, and Experience Bonus Class items). At the moment there seems to be a lot of concern throughout the forums about this and the vague language found in the description for the "Digital Download For Guardians That Own Destiny and Both Expansions" which mentions that along with the VIP Rewards there will be "more at launch with your purchase of The Taken King." Is that "more at launch" the "Collector's Edition Exclusives?" Some of us have invested hundreds of hours on this game and are looking to get the most out of it. We need more clarification on this matter.

I only think that the players who have been grinding away at Destiny for months should have the opportunity to purchase everything that a brand new player gets. If only to keep the community from turning negative on new players. I'd hate to see Destiny turn toxic the way many game communities do.

I think this is bungies way of helping the noobs to catch up and not feel so far behind which they probably see as a big barrier to getting new players to join. My major issue is the price we are expected to pay for the taken king. Im holding out to see if it is worth the price. We better be getting a massive increase to vault space too. Ive resorted to using the post master as an extended vault for new weapons. Its rediculous to have to go to these measures but thats the way bungie want us to play.

I'm not paying 80 dollars for 3 weapons i won't use, 3 shaders, and 3 class items. Here's a post I found for a better version of the collectors edition. "As I am sure many of you are upset about the current collector's edition deal, just as I am, this post will be a detailed version of a new fan-recommended edition. The Veteran's Edition. *THIS IS A FAN-MADE EDITION AND A RECOMMENDATION TO BUNGIE. I AM IN NO WAY AFFILIATED WITH BUNGIe.* This will include: -The Taken King Expansion (Expansion III) -All of Cayde-6's Intel Cache -Three Class Specific Emotes -Three Armor Shaders -Three Exotic Class Items with XP Bonuses -Early Access Weapons Pack - Veteran Founder's Fortune Year 1 Emblem, - Veteran Sparrow - Veteran Armor Shader -COMMENT WHAT ELSE SHOULD BE INCLUDED To have this version, you must have at least one lvl 30 character. Since the regular Collector's Edition is $80 and this version doesn't have the Vanilla Game or either Expansions, I fee this version should be $60. This is not my post but I am trying to spread it because I feel this is a great alternative for the commuted destiny players who want the exclusives without having to pay for stuff they already own. This will end the complaining and unfairness between the old players and new players of destiny. You guys said in a very recent video that you are reading the forums etc... and you guys want what the players want and believe me this is what we want!! I know Bungie is very kind and caring for its community and I do not want to believe that you would make unfair decisions and make us day one players feel thrown under the bus.
