JUST NOW MY BROTHER BEAT SKOLAS AGAIN-AND GOT REWARDS THIS TIME!
My 11 year old brother came to me in tears just now. He had just beaten Skolas with two other guys and IMMEDIATELY got kicked right after Skolas went down. Then, this guy invited his friend to get the rewards, and started being a complete dick to my little brother for no reason. My brother said they called him "really mean names," and I frankly don't want to think about what that could mean.
Why do people do this? I don't understand. I don't care if it's the Internet and people can be dickheads over anonymity, this is horrible. My brother shouldn't come to me crying because of some dickhead loser kicking him from the treasure room.
Edit: to those who don't believe me, check my bro's history "Donald Doge"
Edit 2: bro just told me he was kicked right after Skolas went down, so he didn't even get the drops. I had gotten that part wrong, but I edited it now
Edit 3: Someone researched this guy and apparently he's the Xbox Live version of KirmitTHEFrog, he kicks everyone and invites his friends after completing activities. I can't post gamertags, but if you could do me the favor of finding my bro's Skolas match from earlier today and report that guy, it'd be great
Edit 4: I can't believe this community. The kid who glitched and got his characters deleted got nothing but support, yet my brother who beat Skolas, got kicked AND cursed at by adults is being told he shouldn't have been doing that. -blam!-ing really guys? I'm done with this site. Yeah, I should've monitored it better, I'm doing that from now on, but seriously?! I doubt many of you have kids or younger siblings. Smh

Edited by xCross71: 6/21/2015 12:13:40 AMAnother reason we need matchmaking. By the way I do support you by the way no reason for this to happen to anyone.

Don't expect much support from people on here. People on here have some kind of problem with people younger than them playing games like this. I find the younger players are actually way more mature most of the time. Anyway, that really sucks. Just monitor him I suppose and try and encourage him to play with his friends or something?

Man people really need to look up a little something called "blaming the victim". What a lot of you people are saying is very similar to the douchebags who say if a girl dresses a certain way, or goes out drinking late at night then she is "asking for it". Sure people will balk at that, but it's an extreme example of the same logic you guys are using. That is, that the kid deserves it for playing a teen rated game. Most important to understand is this, NOBODY DESERVES TO BE CHEATED LIKE THAT. Good? That's a pretty basic concept. Would you guys think it was okay if a teen did it to another teen? Would you be okay if it happened to you? Would you say "well that's what I get for playing a game rated teen dur de hur." Of course not. So why does the kid being younger shift the blame from the agressor to the victim? It doesn't. It only makes what the guy did even meaner. Sure you can say that as a caretaker, people have to watch out for stuff like this, but that is a secondary point. It has no bearing on the fact that the kid was treated badly, and some jerk did something wrong to them.

Flaw in your internet hero story... If your brother was booted at skolas, and the guys friend was invite for the rewards, the whole group would have to redo skolas for the friend to get the reward. Which isn't really inviting him for the reward. In order for the friend to join, the team would have to wipe, which would make it so skolas was reset.

Brutal what console r u on I could help him

Edited by FearingDeath777: 6/20/2015 10:59:26 PMYou sound like a -blam!- so you should know other -blam!- moves.
-
11 not a teen shouldn't be playing the game
-
Good.
-
My 11 year old brother came to me in tears just now.
Tell him to go outside and kick a ball because he is to young to play the game.
-
Not tryin to be a dick but maybe your 11 year old brother shouldn't be playing Teen rated games in the first place. Bullying is wrong but it's unfortunately never gonna stop. People online can't be censored so you can't expect young kids not to run into assholes every once in a while if they're gonna play online.
-
You can report the player as (unfriendly). Also block the acct.
-
11yo or not u should not kick people to stop them from getting rewards. Being a dick just dosent help anyone. Sometimes people get kicked @ end because of destiny servers, and this also sucks. After beating skolas, is it really possible to take in another player for the rewards? didnt know u could do it. Before skolas or in..... u wipe and its possible to join, but after?
-
Man I know what you mean have a little bro myself but just don't know what can happen
-
Wow I can't believe how many people are not caring about this don't get me wrong, I don't care much for playing with kids, but they can play. Anyone who kicks someone right before a game is over should be reported, and the kicked person should have a sympathy. I'm going right now to your brothers history to find that game. To report the two guys. I'm sorry about that op, and ops little bro, and I'm sorry most of this community is full of selfish assholes.
-
If he was on ps4 id help him out. That's crap that someone did that but this community is full of d1ckheads.
-
That's a dick move by the loser who kicked your little bro. I wouldn't expect anything else from this terrible community though.
-
People with small dicks on the Internet do not mesh.
-
Maybe you should see if some of your friends would help him run it again.
-
Kids shouldn't play this game. Nothing I hate more than hearing a 10 year old through the mic, it's ridiculous. I kick them too, but before doing anything.
-
Being a younger player myself a bit older than ur brother i can understand. I was removed from a clan when i beat the leader in rumble by a lot and then i spoke i checked the next day and no more clan
-
I let my 12 year old play but there's parental controls on who he can play with and talk to. Reporting will not do anything in this case.
-
"Some men just like to watch the world burn". -blam!- those guys. Your brother will get another chance. Try to keep him from playing with randoms.
-
Irrespective of the comments of 'he shouldn't be on the game', the fact remains he was and regardless of his age etc, that's a right cnut's trick to pull on anyone. Tell your brother to make sure he's leader next time to stop this happening again. It's what I do
-
I can help your bro if he's on xone tomorrow
-
Not saying you're lying, but you get the drops IMMEDIATELY as Skolas dies, so if he didn't get drops that's not their fault, and I agree they're dicks, but you also can't join at Skolas unless you wipe, so how would they get their friend in without doing Skolas again? Wouldn't it just be easier to get their friend in and do it with them instead? I'm sorry for your little brother, but this story doesn't exactly add up.

That's sucks... What console is he on, 360 or one? I can help him through 35
