Pre-order cancelled.
I'm unfortunately going to have to cancel my pre-order for The Taken King. I can not condone these types of business practices from such an esteemed company.
This is just as bad as having to buy the same game 2-3 times from different stores to unlock all the exclusive real life vendor dlc. I have to buy the game a second time so I can have a cool sparrow that I'll barely be able to see due to my character obscuring it, an exotic class armor piece that increases xp that I'll never be able to use because I need to rank up my factions, and emblems? How can you give out emblems to players? It was bad enough when you gave out emblems to people for being on bungie.net for way too long, now you give it out exclusively to new players and only give us some measly loyalty emblem?
I can't tolerate this any longer, I'm going to have to go play TESO instead where I can buy a horse for 25 dollars.

1 ReplyHi Vilyn117, I see that you are stating that you are deleting and or refusing to stop playing Destiny because of DLC/exclusive content. You see, new players need a way to catch up. Sure it doesn't seem "fair", but these players need help also. If you really want it, I would highly recommend buying it for yourself so you may feel the same as the new players. Complaining may help in the conflict, but isn't always the best answer. Bungie is listening guardian. I hope the best on either side of this conflict. TLDR: Buy it if you really want to feel the same.

I have to agree with you 100% this is an insult to players who love the game and have been playing either from the beginning or for many months. I can understand making the collection edition $60 an additonal 20 for the content but how do they justify players having to buy the game over. BUNGIE FIX THIS BEFORE LAUNCH DONT DO THIS TO YOUR FANS, A HAPPY CUSTOMER IS A RETURNING CUSTOMER!!!

not to mention were paying 40$ for taken king and VIP rewards ONLY. while the noobs can get collectors edition and start playing as we speak and get game for 60$ and only pay 20$ for kings which is 79.99$ on top of that they can get the VIP stuff if they play before Feb 2016, on top of that they are getting Exotic Class items with Continuous exp Boost and 3 Emotes and 3 Class specific shaders Included for the price with taken king and were paying $40 just for taken king and vip rewards.

Let calm our tits here people The noob shaders are orange purple and dark blue, we already have access to a lot of those. Class items? Orange titan one, purple Hunter and blue warlock. These are literally it. It's June and the release is in September. I hope they leave us in the dark. Because if you hit level 30 before then you get the legacy items. So someone can but this A week or two before TK and get it all. Some "long time loyalty," eh? So keep it calm people If they announce it all now then people will be motivated to buy it JUST before TK to get all the extras.

Posts like this prove the moderators do nothing but read posts (if that). I understand they aren't allowed to release content until a certain time, but they could at least say that future content will be released soon. I apologize for the confusion. Hell, non-English speaking folks in India can do that when I have questions about a credit card charge. Come on Bungie, get with the times.
