The Ram helmet provides armor (life) and life steal from melee attacks which makes you tougher (immovable) for a short time (interim). These perks work with each other so they can't be one without the other

You can have increased armour without the life steal if you wear it on a sunsinger (this is what confused me), however, you can't unlock those perks separately, and the point about the horns is clever!
