Only thing I'm not happy with is them wanting 40$ for what they're offering. Feels like a step in direction micro-transactions. We can argue if those are good or bad. But if they offer weapons (basically p2w) or other game changing factors in the future, this will be the point where I'll quit.

$40 is a reasonable price for an expansion. (It's not a dlc it's basically like adding half a game to an old game) But not giving options to actually get collectors stuff without dishing out $80? So much for caring about your loyal players.

This. 40$ is more or less reasonable. Sure, I think they could do 20. And I feel that for what they are doing right now (horrible weapon balance, PvP focus etc, you name it) they shouldn't deserve more than 20$. But the point is that I really like destiny. So I'll be getting the 40$ dlc without that exclusive stuff. My silent little protest will be that I don't preorder it.
