i know ... my english sucks.... anyway
As many of you know, there are a lot of players, who want matchmaking for a lot of modi in the game. I'm not too sure about that. I pretty much follow deej in this, but as far as it would remain optional ... i don't really care.
Instead ... how about actually "meet" in the lobby? At a distinct location, that shows you are looking for some guardians to work with. You know what i mean probably, when you played Crota hm before "House of Wolves"... monday night ... wandering around in the tower in dire need of some follow guardians. The tower was just not the proper place for it. For some reasons Facebook too, didn't always work. What was great in the tower is, that you could always see the lvl and armor, weapons and so on. Choosing a proper guardian was easy that way, only you didn't know him and had no clue whether he was willing to help you out.
I met a lot of "friends" this way.
If there was a distinct place inside or arround the Lobby-Zones, where it would be clear, that players standing there are in need of company, it would make the lobbys a lot more interesting. Maybe even a place for every kind of endgame content. Or a blackboard or even a bench .... anything i can run to, look at some guys and say "You there! Wanna do VOG with us?"

If you need 5 for VoG and entered the group building area, it's possible that you'd find an unending stream of joiners who were looking to do CE or nightfalls and so on. The 16 player limit might need to be raised. Idealy there would be a group area for each region so people looking for PvP teams wouldn't have to worry about unwanted ping issues. Though the poor bastard with no Gjallarhorn would still be left looking sad and dejected as people passed him by.
