Unfortunately that's just the gaming industry for you. As games age, they get cheaper. Destiny just doesn't feel aged though becuase its player base is still raging as strong a they were a few months after release, and because the game has constantly been changing and evolving to suit our needs. I would probably blame Activision for the price drop. They still want loads of money so they're getting it by luring in new players with cheaper prices.
