I don't care if it's another 80$, and i don't even have a job. I'll save up for a week and buy it anyway since destiny is epic.
Money is meant for spending you penny-pinching bastards. If you want something, you gotta pay for it. If you want extra, guess what, you have to pay extra.
Bungie doesn't owe you anything for being loyal to them. You just buy their games. Making this thread won't change anything.

No, bungie doesn't owe us anything. You seem to be missing the point. The point is, buying the deluxe edition means we have to re buy content we already payed for. We just want an option, which would not be hard to do, that would let us get ttk + the bonuses without the content we already own.

I preordered the game with the season pass for 100$, so i'm a veteran as well, but unlike OP i don't care if i have to pay extra. Money is made to be spent, like i said. Game companys like money, so they will do whatever they can to squeeze it out of us. I understand this, so if i want extra content, i must know that i'll be forced to pay more than i should.

I'm sure Bungie doesn't owe anything to the players who have been playing and supporting the game for months, helping to iron out bugs and improve gameplay. Games depreciate over time and that makes sense, but the fact that a new player can buy destiny with all of the content for $60 and I as a veteran player have to pay $40 for just TTK makes me upset. I honestly doubt the rest of the destiny content depreciated by ~60% in just a few months. New players essentially get all the old content for $20. Vanilla CoD Ghosts is $30 at GameStop regular price and it's been out for almost 2 years.

That makes much more sense when you put it that way. But you must understand that they just want money, and they know that the really loyal fans will buy the new DLC (with the preorder exclusives) at whatever price they ask. Of course the smart investors will complain, but that doesn't mean it will change. Unlike OP, i don't mind paying extra. If anything, i'll give my friend the new disc, and the old dlc codes.

I think it's great they want to bring in new players, I just feel cheated. IMHO I feel either TTK should be cheaper or the special edition more expensive (the $60 one).
