RAID: Why is no one talking about this...
So this second DLC came with zero Raid... When we expressed concern & complained about this Bungie said "ohh look, a shiny horde mode" & their little fan club here said "[b]jusht you guysh wait, Sheres ghonna be anosher Raid later for fwee. Bungie ish sho awshome"[/b]
Yeah, no new raid & horde mode kinda sucks the balls big time (ToO yeah laggggggggg)... So now with the Lame King dropping soon & no mention of an [b]interim[/b] raid, are we to assume that we have once again bait & switched??
I really liked this game when it first dropped. But seeing all that was "promised" with the original destiny (trailers, marketing snipets, etc.) & how we are just now getting it with this second DLC, I cannot see how anyone is willing to drop their money before anything is proven to us by Bungie... For that matter, why continue feeding the troll that is Bungie?
Don't disappoint guardians, I expect some hate for this post so let's do this!!
[b]Edit: (for science)[/b] This entire post goes to show that people read the title & the bold words... Most of you missed the main point of this post & man is it funny. [i]season pass marketing said TdB raid & HoW Raid, HoW drops & we are told "no raid is coming till later in the year"... Thus why should we trust them to deliver on everything they are saying is gonna be in TTK? I mean they have it in the user agreement that they can change whatever they want whenever they want. So let's [b]wait to buy TTK till after release[/b][/i]

13 RepliesThey already confirmed a new raid with TTK. That "free raid" your talking about was nothing more than a rumor. So im pretty sure regardless of whatever statement your making isnt going to stop anyone from buying the DLC at launch. Its not going to anything to persuade anyone to just go with the flow that is bungie and Activision. You forget there apart of this as well.

Don't know what you mean about lag? Besides people lag switching, most matches have been lag free, or at least close to it. At any rate, I don't think you should act like the whole community has been ripped off and lied too. Regardless of that, you were not happy with how things turned out, so of course you should wait until after TTK is out to buy it, and so should anyone else who feels short changed.

uh bungie said a new raid will come out later after HoW they didnt say it was free thats what the fuss was about because people were guessing if the raid was gonna be a free dlc this summer or part of the taken king dlc

You Have 2 choices, buy it or don't. Was I unhappy at the lack of a raid in HoW, yes. Was PoE a substitute raid, No. The fact is that they kept PvP alive with ToO, and PoE will probably get better come TTK

11 RepliesDeeJ actually confirmed there was a raid in an interview with Destin Legarie from IGN unless I'm thinking of a different interview. But they also talk about it in the ViDoc. I'll post links later..

5 RepliesI do agree that people should wait and see what they're getting before blindly pre - ordering. That being said, there's a lot of people out there that thoroughly enjoy the game and don't give a shit about the "problems" or "lies" that others complain about. With regards to the HoW raid, the only official thing I ever saw from Bungie that remotely mentioned a raid was on an email dated 23/09/14 where it makes reference to each expansion having a raid. Given that email was sent before the majority of the player base even set foot in a raid and 3 moths before the failure that was Crota then I wouldn't consider it to be relevant. That's my take on it anyway

I can't believe anyone thought they'd just give us a free raid later to make up for it. PoE is already pretty boring and the rewards totally suck. I'll be waiting for reviews and to see what my friends think before buying TTK. HoW was a total waste of money in my opinion, but I'm not a big PvP fan so others will disagree.

You should wait, honestly, season passes are a trap and a games hype drives season pass sales. No, bungie shouldnt have promised something and not delivered. Yes, you should have waited to buy the dlc until you were certain it was a sound investment.
