RAID: Why is no one talking about this...
So this second DLC came with zero Raid... When we expressed concern & complained about this Bungie said "ohh look, a shiny horde mode" & their little fan club here said "[b]jusht you guysh wait, Sheres ghonna be anosher Raid later for fwee. Bungie ish sho awshome"[/b]
Yeah, no new raid & horde mode kinda sucks the balls big time (ToO yeah laggggggggg)... So now with the Lame King dropping soon & no mention of an [b]interim[/b] raid, are we to assume that we have once again bait & switched??
I really liked this game when it first dropped. But seeing all that was "promised" with the original destiny (trailers, marketing snipets, etc.) & how we are just now getting it with this second DLC, I cannot see how anyone is willing to drop their money before anything is proven to us by Bungie... For that matter, why continue feeding the troll that is Bungie?
Don't disappoint guardians, I expect some hate for this post so let's do this!!
[b]Edit: (for science)[/b] This entire post goes to show that people read the title & the bold words... Most of you missed the main point of this post & man is it funny. [i]season pass marketing said TdB raid & HoW Raid, HoW drops & we are told "no raid is coming till later in the year"... Thus why should we trust them to deliver on everything they are saying is gonna be in TTK? I mean they have it in the user agreement that they can change whatever they want whenever they want. So let's [b]wait to buy TTK till after release[/b][/i]

Bungie never said we would get a raid before TTK. That was all speculation from the community. So, no we didn't experience a bait and switch.

You are just like one of those people who say "BUNGIE PROMISED US A RAID" because they didn't. Believe me, im very upset there was no raid, and the prison was honestly horrible, but they never promised anything and we are getting a raid now so srop complaining

Lol yeah I love that they said a raid would be coming later this year, but decided to leave out the little detail that it would cost $40 with TTK. Honestly this new "expansion" does little to separate itself from TDB/HoW IMO. New subclasses are cool, but considering that they were probably already completed for the initial release does little to excite me.

No it didn't. If what we are getting now was in the trailer then the trailer has indeed delivered what was shown and "promised". Its like watching a trailer for the new season of Game of Thrones for example, the trailer will show clips from multiple episodes, and not all the bits we see in the trailer show up in the 1st episode, or even first 3 episodes, some are clips from the last episode.

Lame ToO; i honestly haven't come across any laggy players or a laggy match at all. Pve alone is far buggier and glitchier than trials Any raid given would have had far less replayability and gone stale far faster than poe. Not to mention easier as no variables ever change. Just learn what to do & repeat nonstop and claim it takes skill as many had done for crotas raid. Poe at least changes things up every week while being harder and challenging in varying playstyles unlike a raid which never changes

6 RepliesThe raids are not the be all end all of the game and never was or ever were going to be such either. Plus the moment you played the game you agreed to their eula which states they have the right to change/add/remove anything they need to for any reason and no they don't have to ask your permission first or care if you like it or not. Nor do they even have to come out and say why they are doing it either. They fact they do is their choice. So it means the moment you bought the game and played it no matter what was advertizes did not ever have to be what was going to be in the dlc no matter what and no it is not false advertizing either by them doing that. Dont like then dont play, plain and simple.

3 RepliesThey said there would be a new raid after HoW later in the year with the next release. TTK is the next release and it has a raid, just as promised. Why would anyone expect an extra raid in between now and then when there was never one promised?

I get that they can change what they want when they want, but what if you were ordering supplies for your company or your home and instead of getting 100 spoons (or whatever the hell you want to say) and instead your retailer send you 75 spoons and 25 forks I don't you'd be very happy with them and you probably wouldn't want to order supplies from them anymore. Would you? I'm not going to say I didn't enjoy both expansions or anything like that. But i ordered100 spoons dammit!

No one said there would eventually be a raid for free. They said there will be a raid releasing later this year. There is a raid releasing later this year.. With TTK. You guys lied to yourselves if you thought they'd give you a raid after taking your money and not having promised you that.

If you knew this when you bought the expansion pass how can you hate on them for not putting in a raid? I'm assuming you knew this considering it is in every terms of service for everything like for example did you know in the terms of service when you buy a cell phone it basically states that they don't guarantee you service on your device and even if you don't get service you are still required by the terms of service that you sign to pay them. How frickin ridiculous is that!!! Obviously most companies try not to screw over people like that simply because customer satisfaction and word of mouth advertising are very important but it's crazy that if they wanted to they could. All I'm saying is what they did is common business practices and unfortunately that's the way the world is and unfortunately people don't ever read what they sign or agree to.

7 RepliesTHEY never said free, a lot of people on here assumed and hoped it was free. They also said later this year. Last time I looked September follows May in the same year...everyone complains that it's too hard to find a full group of 6 people to do a raid, so they make something that only requires 3, now people complain again. Everyone needs to get off their high horses and just relax and enjoy the game. Or dont. Just get off the forums complaining....
