RAID: Why is no one talking about this...
So this second DLC came with zero Raid... When we expressed concern & complained about this Bungie said "ohh look, a shiny horde mode" & their little fan club here said "[b]jusht you guysh wait, Sheres ghonna be anosher Raid later for fwee. Bungie ish sho awshome"[/b]
Yeah, no new raid & horde mode kinda sucks the balls big time (ToO yeah laggggggggg)... So now with the Lame King dropping soon & no mention of an [b]interim[/b] raid, are we to assume that we have once again bait & switched??
I really liked this game when it first dropped. But seeing all that was "promised" with the original destiny (trailers, marketing snipets, etc.) & how we are just now getting it with this second DLC, I cannot see how anyone is willing to drop their money before anything is proven to us by Bungie... For that matter, why continue feeding the troll that is Bungie?
Don't disappoint guardians, I expect some hate for this post so let's do this!!
[b]Edit: (for science)[/b] This entire post goes to show that people read the title & the bold words... Most of you missed the main point of this post & man is it funny. [i]season pass marketing said TdB raid & HoW Raid, HoW drops & we are told "no raid is coming till later in the year"... Thus why should we trust them to deliver on everything they are saying is gonna be in TTK? I mean they have it in the user agreement that they can change whatever they want whenever they want. So let's [b]wait to buy TTK till after release[/b][/i]

I just hope this isn't how they plan on making the game a 10 year endeavor. These expansions need to be, I don't know, more expansive?! Each one can be completed in a day (or less). It would be nice to see an expansion pack on a separate disc sometime soon that includes multiple new locations to explore and a new style of mission/ quest rather than rush to the end and fight a boss.

Unlike before where there was no promise of a raid, this time there is a raid, we know the name of it, we know it will be an intellectual raid like VoG and we know there will be a lot more places to explore in it than there was in VoG.

11 RepliesThe new expanstion is coming in 3 months and people are still trying to whine about "No raid" in HoW. It's pretty old to talk about. Move on. There are better things coming up soon. There is no raid and there will not be any raid with HoW. No one told you about the raid in HoW. Did you go to the shop and read that you would get a raid called [Put the name of the raid]?

1 ReplyLol there's still posts crying about how e3 destiny and launch destiny? That horse has been beaten do death the reason for cut content is last gen and Activision greed. They saw an opportunity and took it a new ip spread across all consoles to make as much money as possible,. Then not making a pc version knowing that they would figure out the coding and find the cut content or mod it etc.

As much as I do want a raid to be introduced I can't see it being too big a deal if it comes at a later date.. Gives me time to master the new classes and see what they are all about. Lets be honest not many games get updated quite as much as bungie and although I think they listen abit too much (nerf whines) they are atleast trying. I enjoyed reading your contructive criticism and agree we should not commit to the expansion until we are [b]fully[/b] aware what it offers, afterall it's human nature to always want more so why wouldn't they think 'yeah we already have huge preorders lets delay the raid and take a few whines'. Either way I will be preordering a few weeks before release because I enjoy the game as the weekly resets are perfect for me due to working mon-fri and doing most on sundays.

12 RepliesComet will have all this. Then there will be two more dlc before destiny 2. If you like the game and enjoy playing you should have no problem waiting. Could be worse. Destiny could have been made by dice and used the bf4 engine then released a bunch of shit that never mattered because you couldn't get over the engine mechanics which they could not change. Hopefully they don't -blam!- up battlefront. Anyways point is play the game and shut up or find something else to do
