It is from Bladedancer kills from what I heard, but we will get Artifacts and they will be unlocked at level 30. So, it might be changed later.

3 RepliesWatch them do something stupid, like only allowing the sword to be used temporarily or in certain game modes, instead of a permanent weapon. Seriously. I can go knife only in CoD and play my way, I should be able to do the same in this game. It would save this game. No really though, watch them screw this simple thing up.

Edited by Janus Geminus: 6/18/2015 5:22:12 PMMy guess is that the artifact is what unlocks our third Subclass. Which opens up the possibility for future additional subclasses that can be switched out, like switching weapons, that will take the third Subclass slot.

5 RepliesThe "Artifact" kill may be referring to the Mote of Light being used to kill enemy players when you "dunk" the Mote to get points in Rift.
