Some of that money went into advertising. It's not that they don't put effort into the game, it's that crybabies whine about the game constantly so they have to change things to make them happy.
And yes, anyone would kill to be a Bungie Dev but you need to realize all the problems they deal with.

True, crybabies, like you call them (I call them casuals) are the first cause of game "destruction" as they are the ones that want the game to be easier since they dont have the time to play it. What is the best approach in this case? Giving content to both casuals and hardcore players, then both sides would be happy
