San'Shyuum They were dominated by two distinct religions based around the Forerunners. The Stoics and Reformists. The Stoics heavily outnumbered the Reformists and believed that Forerunner technology should be revered. The Reformists contrarily believed that Forerunner technology should be studied and integrated into their own culture and society. Ultimately, the theological battle between the two groups culminated in a large group of Reformists boarding the Forerunner Keyship and leaving Janjur Qom. Sangheili The Sangheili are comparable to the San'Shyuum Stoics, however, sects that believed it was acceptable to study and reverse engineer Forerunner tech existed in the shadows, until they revealed themselves in order to augment Sangheili technology in an attempt to prevent defeat by the San'Shyuum. Lekgolo The Lekgolo have spiritual beliefs that involve meditation and poetry. Little else is known. Yanme'e It is currently unknown what, if any, religious or spiritual beliefs the Yanme'e had prior to their integration into the Covenant. Kig-Yar It is currently unknown what, if any, religious or spiritual beliefs the Kig-Yar had prior to their integration into the Covenant. Unggoy It is currently unknown what, if any, religious or spiritual beliefs the Unggoy had prior to their integration into the Covenant. Jiralhanae The Jiralhanae had a loose religion centered around Doisac's lunar cycle.
